Starter kit in May 2013:

  • brewing kettle 30l = 8 gal. (Einkochautomat Weck, bought at Landi)
  • 1 lauter tun 30l = 8 gal.
  • 1 fermenter 30l = 8 gal.
  • 1 beer-stirrer with thermometer
  • 1 beer-hydrometer with a measuring cylinder

1. upgrade in June 2013:

  • beer fridge (Liebherr WKr 4211)
  • wort chiller 35l = 9 gal.
  • 1 fermenter 30l = 8 gal.

2. upgrade in August 2013:

  • bottle cleaning machine (a very simple one)
  • bottle disinfection machine (a rinser)
  • bottle tree (for drying)

3. upgrade in November 2013:

  • 2. beer fridge (second hand)
  • 2 head taping system and intercooler with all necessary accessories (type CC)
  • 5 18-liter beer kegs (type CC, 18l = 4.75 gal.)
  • wort ventilation set

4. upgrade in January 2014:

  • 50-liter brewing machine by Speidel (with lift and self-made installation to pull out the malt pipe, 50l = 13.2 gal.)
  • 2 fermenter 60l = 16 gal.
  • 2 9-liter beer kegs (type CC, 9l = 2.4 gal.)
